1. In this course of Process Integration the methodologies for energy integration and mass integration, are presented and applied, as well as their combination, which are utilized on Chemical Process Optimization.
2. Upon successful completion of this course the student should dominate the key concepts to apply on systematic methodologies for the design and integration of chemical process in order to optimize heat-recovery and energy utility systems and to optimize pollution prevention, ensuring at the same time the aspects of economy competition and keeping high safety levels.
